A greedy mouse saw a basket full of corn. He wanted to eat it. So he made a small hole in the basket. He squeezed in through the hole. He ate a lot of corn. He felt full and was very happy.
Now he wanted to come out. He tried to come out through the small hole. He could not. His belly was full. He tried again. But it was of no use.
The mouse started crying. A rabbit was passing by. It heard the mouse’s cry and asked, “Why are you crying, my friend?”
The mouse explained, “I made a small hole and came into the basket to eat the corn. Now I am not able to get out through that hole.”
The rabbit said, “It is because you ate too much. Wait till your belly shrinks.” The rabbit laughed and went away.
The mouse fell asleep in the basket. The next morning his belly had shrunk. But he wanted to eat some more corn. He forgot all about getting out of the basket. So he ate the corn and his belly was really big again.
After eating, the mouse remembered that he had to escape. But obviously, he could not. So he thought, “Oh! Now I will go out tomorrow.”
The cat was the next passerby. He smelt the mouse in the basket. He lifted its lid and ate the mouse.
Once there were two brothers working and living together on their farm. the oldest one of them was married with a large family and the younger one was single. At the end of every day, the two brothers share everything equally, produce and profit and anything they get from the farm.
Then one day the younger brother said to himself, "It's not fair that we should share equally the produce and the profit. I'm alone and my needs are simple." So each night he took a sack of grain from his bin and crept across the field between their houses, dumping it into his brother's bin.
Meanwhile, the married brother said to himself, "Its not fair that we should share the produce and the profit equally.
After all, I'm married and I have my wife and my children to look after me in years to come. My brother has no one, and no one to take care of his future." So each night, he took a sack of grain and dumped it into his single brother's bin.
This continued for years and both of them were puzzled in light of the fact that their supply of grain never dwindled. Then at one very dark night the two brothers bumped into each other.Gradually it occurred to them what was going on. They dropped their sacks and hugged each other.

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally he decided since the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. So, the farmer invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed shovels, and began to shovel dirt into the well.
All the other farm animals were very upset about this, because the donkey was their friend. But they discovered there was nothing they could do to help him. At first, when the donkey realized what was happening, he cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well, and was astonished at what he saw.
With every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off, and take a step up on the dirt as it piled up. As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well, and trotted off!

It was a hot summer day. Sun was shining bright up in the sky. A lion was sitting under the shade of a big tree and in some time got asleep. Nearby that tree, there was a hole, in which there lived a mouse. When the lion was sleeping, the mouse came out of its hole and saw him asleep.
Unaware of the lions strength, it got tickled by an idea. It thought of waking up the lion by running over his body just for fun.
Unfortunately, the lion seized it in his strong paw. He was going to kill it when it begged, Spare me, sir; some day I may repay your mercy.
The lion was amused hearing its words and let it go with a smile thinking that how can such a small mouse be of any help to me.
But a day came, when the lion got into trouble. He got caught in a hunter's net under that very tree. As a result, he started roaring loudly.
On hearing his roar, the mouse came out of its hole. This was the time to pay back the lion's mercy. So, immediately it nibbled the cords of the net and set the lion free
